from relatives,
from the kids who're playing IPad,
from the fireworks that the neighbors set,
make me uncomfortable
feel like going to withdraw myself from this situation and find a comfy place to burrow in.
sugarcoat your lies
comparisons behind compliments
spreading rumors
and labelling each others
"the one who doesn't greet, rude"
"the one who doesn't speak, ill-mannered"
"the one who doesn't follow the tradition, rebellious and thou-shalt-not-enter-my-house"
We judge people, all the time.
But judge people based on the way how we celebrate a festive, is stupid.
Some people likes to chill at home,
some may like spending time with friends and family.
Some may like hanging around pubs and make new friends, some may like to travel.
"Just don't bother them and get out of the situation! What's stopping you?"
If I stand up and leave, all the guilts will straight up to my mother.
she'll take all the blames, shames, and complaints from those arrogant people, regard to my "uncivilized" act.
I can't. Thus I conform. Just like everyone else.
Are you truly enjoying this festive?
If yes, good for you.
If no, try again.
